These are very detailed wall charts, describing the various IEC standards, whats involved in the testing, and illustrated descriptions of the tests. APECS 2.5 Oxygen Injection Algorithm meets EN14143 "Partial Pressure Oxygen Set Point Control".
The algorithm was tested in an APECS 2.05 beta software in an APECS 2 electronics unit on 20 April, 2006
at ANSTI at a fixed pO2 of 1.2 bar. See Summary results of test report.

Juergensen Marine Hammerhead Electronics Test Results Announcement.
For quality assurance, ISC routinely tests each production and test head in our pressure pot to document the electronics performance before the completed system ships to the customer. This testing shows us the performance of the electronics, oxygen injection system, and the installed oxygen sensors. This same testing applies to all electronics heads that come to ISC for repairs and upgrades. For this test, the Hammerhead Electronics were tested in the pressure pot before and after the EMI/EMC/ESD testing.

ISC New Product Announcements

ISC Shadow Gear™ Shadow Mount Cylinder Mounting System
ISC has designed a low profile light weight cylinder mounting system that actually hides itself and offers the lowest profile of any mounting system on the market. The system was created to narrow the overall width of any cylinder system and help meet weight requirements for travel. The system is robust and you can use it to mount other components to your Meg or other rig. The Shadow Mount is also a fast mount and dismount system. The Shadow Mount is the first product in the ISC Shadow Gear™ product line.

ISC Radial Scrubbers
ISC has an 8 pound radial scrubber canister currently undergoing initial production. It fits the standard MEG gas plenum canister with no scrubber stand. This 8 pound radial also fits the new tall gas plenum canister with a scrubber stand fitted. ISC also has a smaller scrubber (estimated at 5.5 pound scrubber capacity) that is undergoing third party testing. Once testing is completed, this cansiter will enter its first production cycle. This smaller canister fits the standard gas plenum canister as well as the Movie or "Cave" Meg canister with their normal scrubber stands. The 8.0 radial was tested as per EN 14143 and scrubber duration is 3 hours 30 minutes. ISC is also testing the canister at 100 meters under the same standard. In the near future ISC will test all their canisters to the U.S. Navy standard using the lower CO2 injection rate of 1.35 lpm CO2. ISC is also considering testing what is considered "real world" using Oxygen consumption and CO2 production under conditions normally expernced by divers. The ISC radial canisters features an impressive compression system that displaces the scrubber material ensuring even compression and displacment. One O-ring seal. Handle for lifting the radial out. Top to bottom filling for even pressure drop ensuring consistant performance. Other features include solid build quality, handsome look. ISC even added three pressure pads at the top of the head so the diver does not scratch the famed ISC helmet logo.

ISC Tall Gas Plenum Canister
This Gas Plenum Canister is designed specifically for the ISC 8.0 pound radial scrubber. Like the radial scrubbers, the tall can is an option. The taller plenum allows for a large water trap area below the radial canister. The taller can also allows for divers desiring better seating platform easing back strain while waiting to enter the water from a boat. The taller can may not allow for easier travel due to the longer length and the addtional size adds to weight. The taller can was requested by our New Jersey/New York divers wanting the 8.0 radial and features the taller can provides. This can is approximately 3 3/8 inches longer (21 1/8 inches) than the standard Meg canister.

ISC Tetradon Wing
ISC now offers the Tetradon Wing as an option. The Tetradon has a tough 1880 ballistic nylon armour jacket and armorized reinforced 420 denier 11 oz urethane coated inner bladder. It is rated at 50 pounds (22.67 kg) lift. It fits all standard hole spacing tank adapters and backplates. Also, it has cam strap slots for soft pack mounting to scuba cylinders. The wing does not interfere with access to the cylinder valves. ISC designed this wing to meet the technical dive community needs for the near ultimate wing. It also performs well for most open circuit diver needs. Additionally, the inflator hose and left over pressure relief valve can be swapped for the side mount rebreather or open circuit divers needs. This also provides a side mount anchor point for the Armadillo side mount system. The wing provides for shoulder and waist anchor points for an integrated harness if the diver wishes to use the wing as an extreme light weight stand alone harness/BC system for both open circuit and rebreather use. The wing provides better horizontal trim by adding more lift at the bottom end of the CCR. This wing is now part of the ISC product line and is readily available. This wing is pending CE approval by a notified body.

ISC MegaMEG
The Mega Meg is another brain child of Leon Scamahorn. When the Meg was originally designed 9 years ago, consideration for coupling up two Megs together for two independent loops, electronics, and scrubbers. The Mega Meg was displayed at the 07 DEMA show using light weight and tough FRP gas plenum canisters dispalying that two Meg's can be picked up with one hand. The Mega Meg will be used on the 08 Britannic expedition by Leon Scamahorn, Mel Clark and Tamara Thompson. Pictured here is Tom Jaspers preparing to dive one of five known Mega Megs built. Three more are expected to be built up for use in finding the bottom of another Thailand cave system.
